WHAT OUR CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY

“Three years ago I had surgery on my right foot for an arthritic joint in my big toe. Since then I have had limited mobility, being unable to run at all and not able to walk without pain. I had always been a very active hiker and skier but I resigned myself to limiting these activities because of the pain.

My doctor talked me into working with Alexandra. After a few hands-on therapy and exercise sessions, I noticed less pain and more flexibility in my foot. As things improved, I began increasing my workout distances, and now I am doing 25K hikes on a regular basis. My goal is to do an 800K hike through Spain this September on the Camino de Santiago, and I’m confident I can do it.

Alexandra is very competent, supportive, and a joy to work with. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

“After a few sessions of focusing on foundational core strength and correct movement patterns, my back pain decreased to the point where I could work without noticing it.

As a carpenter I use my body day in and day out, which can be very demanding. I now feel stronger, more mobile, and confident that I can do my job without hurting myself. I highly recommend Alex if you’re looking to find a way to work pain-free!”

“I am a 51-year-old woman who made a serious mistake last summer 2020 and broke my back in a mountain biking accident. The Dr. said I would be lucky if I could do yoga by the time the ski season began, skiing would likely wait a year.

I wanted to give a big shout out to my athletic therapist Alexandra Black for encouraging me slowly but surely back to health. The exercises she suggested, as well as trigger release and ultrasound therapy during visits have been the best medicine during my recovery period…I skied at five months, one week post injury and did not feel like I was pushing it in any way..”
